3. JOURNAL ARTICLES, NEWSPAPER ARTICLES, MAGAZINE ARTICLES
  • For journal articles, use both volume and issue numbers in the reference list when available.
  • If the journal issue has both a number and an identifier such as a Month or quarter, choose one and use it consistently.
  • If there is no volume number, the issue number or identifier should follow the journal title.
  • If there is no issue number or other identifier, include the volume number and page numbers.
