About the authors

Professor Richard A. Slaughter, Foresight International, Brisbane, Australia

Richard A. Slaughter completed his Ph.D. in Futures Studies at Lancaster University in 1982. He later became internationally recognized as a futurist / foresight practitioner, author, editor, teacher and innovator. During the early 2000s he was President of the World Futures Studies Federation and Foundation Professor of Foresight at Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne. He has written or edited some 20 or so books and countless papers on a wide range of topics. His work was highlighted in a special issue of Futures in 2021.He is perhaps most well-known for the series he created in the 1990s, The Knowledge Base of Futures Studies (KBFS). He currently works out of Foresight International, Brisbane, Australia and can be reached at: foresightinternational.com.au.

JP Jakonen, Director of Integral Foresight Finland

JP Jakonen has a PhD from the Department of Comparative Religion at the University of Turku, Finland on the work of American philosopher Ken Wilber. He is the founder and Director of Integral Foresight Finland. His overall purpose is to help people in organisations apply Integral Theory to solving ‘wicked’ problems. He is interested in all possible combinations of Philosophy, psychology, and religion. He places particular emphasis on nonduality, the philosophy of religion, and religious philosophy. He is also the author of six popular books on integral philosophy, leadership, and coaching.
